Emirates' A380 network continues to expand Posted on 21/08/2010 Emirates, the world's largest operator of the Airbus A380, yesterday announced Hong Kong as the newest destination for its super-jumbo. Emirates has a total of 12 A380s in service with 78 on order and Hong Kong will become the Dubai-based global airline's 11th A380 destination. 55,000 air traffic movements in UAE July Posted on 12/08/2010 The UAE General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has announced that air traffic movement in the UAE grew at 11.9% in July 2010 compared to the same month last year. The GCAA monthly report indicated that total air traffic movements in July 2010 were around 55 thousand, compared to around 52 thousand in June 2010.
